Michael a native of Alabama grew up in Marengo county. His family has been in the timber business for more than 75 years. Michael moved to Carrollton, Georgia in 1978. In Georgia he became president of two large clothing companies. Shortly after moving to Tuscaloosa in 1996, he started Toulmin Homes, Inc. The company is named after his father Toulmin Warren Young, Sr. Michael enjoys playing golf, spending time at the barn with his family and horses.
Drew moved to Tuscaloosa in 1997 and became the Head Golf Professional at Indian Hills Country Club, until 2003. He joined Toulmin Homes in July 2003 to fulfill the dream of becoming a home builder. Drew enjoys helping others achieve their goals where it be through golf or now building their home.
Barbra Grimes joined the Toulmin Homes team in July 2008 as bookkeeper and administrative assistant, and has over 16 years of accounting and administrative experience in manufacturing. She enjoys playing music, teaching yoga, singing with her church choir, and recently becoming a grandmother.
